Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HelloGenz ("Platform", "we", "us") at hellogenz.online, operated by Osaad (also trading as Osaad.tech). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About HelloGenz

HelloGenz is a UAE influencer directory that gives influencers a public profile page at hellogenz.online/username and enables brands to discover and contact them directly via WhatsApp. Listing as an influencer is free. An optional paid Verified subscription is available for influencers who wish to receive a verification badge on their profile.

2. Eligibility

•You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
•You must be based in or primarily operate within the UAE.
•You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
•You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Paddle as Merchant of Record. All paid subscriptions are sold and fulfilled by Paddle.com Market Limited, 15 Cambridge Court, 210 Shepherd's Bush Road, London W6 7NJ, United Kingdom ("Paddle"). Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, meaning your purchase contract for the subscription is with Paddle, not with HelloGenz. Paddle is responsible for collecting payment, issuing receipts and invoices, and remitting applicable taxes (including VAT). For billing queries, contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/support.

Available Plans

•Verified Yearly — 120 AED billed annually (auto-renewing subscription)
•Verified 3-Year — 299 AED one-time payment (non-recurring)

Auto-Renewal

The Yearly plan automatically renews each year at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through Paddle's customer portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. For auto-renewing plans, we will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect.

4. User Content & Conduct

You are solely responsible for the content you submit to your profile. You must not:

•Provide false or misleading information (fake follower counts, fake identity)
•Impersonate another person or entity
•Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights
•Use the Platform to spam, harass, or deceive brands or other users
•Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
•Scrape, copy, or redistribute the influencer directory for commercial purposes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.

5. Identity Verification (KYC)

To receive a Verified badge, you must complete identity verification through our KYC partner Didit (business.didit.me). By proceeding with KYC you agree to Didit's terms and privacy policy.

•You must submit a valid government-issued ID that matches your registered name
•Providing false or tampered identity documents is grounds for immediate account termination without refund
•The Verified badge is tied to your identity and is non-transferable
•We reserve the right to revoke the badge if verification is found to be fraudulent

6. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

HelloGenz is built on and integrates with the following third-party services. By using the Platform you acknowledge that your use is also subject to each provider's own terms of service.

Supabase — Database & Authentication

Your account credentials, profile data, and analytics are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database (EU region). Supabase also provides the authentication system that manages your login sessions. HelloGenz has no access to your raw password — only a secure hash is stored.

Vercel — Hosting & Deployment

The HelloGenz web application is deployed and served via Vercel's global edge network. Vercel handles HTTPS, CDN delivery, and serverless function execution. Vercel may process request-level metadata (IP address, URL path, headers) for infrastructure and security purposes.

Icons8 — Icons & Visual Assets

Certain icons and visual assets displayed in the HelloGenz interface are sourced from Icons8. These assets are used under Icons8's licence terms. No personal user data is transmitted to Icons8 beyond standard browser requests (e.g. IP address) that occur when loading assets from their CDN.

Didit — Identity Verification (Optional KYC)

Influencers who choose to obtain a Verified badge must complete identity verification through Didit. This is entirely optional — it is not required to create a free profile or appear in the directory. When you initiate KYC, you are directed to Didit's platform and your identity documents are processed under Didit's own terms and privacy policy. HelloGenz receives only a verification status result (approved or rejected) and does not store your identity documents.

Paddle — Payments (Merchant of Record)

All paid subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as the Merchant of Record. See Section 3 for full details. Your payment contract is with Paddle; their terms of service and privacy policy govern all billing and payment data.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload to your profile. By uploading content you grant HelloGenz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and showing your profile to brands. HelloGenz owns all intellectual property rights in the Platform itself, including its design, code, and branding.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any interruption or loss of service resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be free from errors or that influencers listed will receive brand enquiries. We make no guarantees about the number of brand contacts or hired collaborations an influencer will receive.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HelloGenz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE. For payment and billing disputes handled by Paddle, Paddle's terms and jurisdiction apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a banner on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
